Laura Walsh
Laura Walsh graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College in 2016 with double bachelor's degrees in English: Interdisciplinary studies and Political Science: Legal Studies.
Laura served as Editor-in-Chief of The Globe, GGC's student newspaper. She was also President of The Law Society, and involved in various other clubs.
Journalism, legal writing, and research are Laura's key strengths. She has written extensively on international law, judicial reform, and political agency.
Laura is passionate about the law and plans to go on to law school to study criminal law. Her goal is to become a judge in the federal circuit.
Mission Statement
To bring my charisma, creativity, and determination to the aid of those who are unable to stand up for themselves or who have been failed by our system of justice.

Awards & Recognition
Accepted membership in Golden Key, Sigma Tau Delta, Sigma Iota Rho, and Pi Sigma Alpha national honors society chapers at GGC.
Received the award for most improved delegation while representing the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the Southern Regional MUN conference.
Nominated for the Outstanding Student Leadership award, the Outstanding Student award, and I was nominated to be the graduation speaker for Spring 2015.
The Globe Newspaper won the award for best new student organization for the 2014-2015 school year and awards for executive board of the year and advisor of the year for the 2015-2016 school year.
